Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the 'Company' will mean prestigewine and the 'Customer' will mean any person, firm, company, corporation or body, which places an order with the Company.
Sales
All sales are subject to our final confirmation. All orders received verbally, by fax or electronic mail is considered final. No cancellations will be accepted. Prices are subject to change without notice. All wines are offered subject to remaining unsold. Unless stated otherwise, all wines are offered lying in Hong Kong with the exception of en primeur. All goods sold are strictly non-exchangeable and non-refundable. This current list cancels all previous lists.
By placing an order, the Customer confirms that he/she is 18 years old or over. It is illegal to sell alcohol to people under the age of 18.
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
Wine Conditions
Ullages of all wines offered are top shoulder or better, unless otherwise stated. Although we strive to find wines in their best condition, the Customer must make appropriate allowances for natural variations of ullages, conditions of cases, labels and corks for old wines. We do not accept return wines for any reason, including corked wines.
Payment
Payment is due immediately upon confirmation of order.
Method of payment is preferably in the form of bank transfer.
Upon receipt of proof of payment before 1pm, delivery can be arranged the next business day. Otherwise, an extra business day is required.
Personal cheques will take up to 3 business days to process.
Surcharge will apply for credit cards payment (Visa & Master) with approved accounts only.
The order will be valid for 7 days upon confirmation. If payment is not received during this period, the order will be voided automatically.
We reserve the right to charge interest for all overdue invoices at 5% additional to the Prime Rate set by Hong Kong Monetary Authority until the invoices are settled.
Breakages/Shortfall
All Customers are requested to examine the goods immediately upon collection or delivery for any deficiencies and/or damages. Claims (if any) must be logged at the time of delivery, otherwise any breakages or shortfall shall be deemed to have occurred thereafter.
